In addition, MBB has a worldwide network of experts in the fields of product development, marketing and raw materials. The founder of MBB, Heinz Gert Blechschmidt, was one of the pioneers in the establishment of canned pet food in Germany. From the beginning of the 70s until the middle of the 90s he worked in various positions, most recently in international purchasing for the MARS Group.
As the current owner and managing director, I, Christian Köhler, have been closely associated with MBB since 1998.
Through this long-standing relationship with MBB and further employment with one of the leading German private label providers in the pet food sector, I have acquired extensive knowledge of the industry and products and established my own worldwide network.
