#20190212 MBB NEWS C&D Foods last family shares sold

As reported by various media, Philip Reynolds, son of former Prime Minister Albert Reynolds, has sold his last remaining stake, reportedly 15%, in the family business C&D Foods to Larry Goodman.

The reason given is the approaching Brexit and the associated uncertainties.

The company was founded 50 years ago by the late Albert Reynolds in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.

Goodman’s ABP Food Group first invested in the company in 2008.
