Since 1996 MBB GmbH, first with the founder Gert Blechschmidt and since 2011under the current owner and managing director Christian K\u00f6hler<\/a>, have established themselves as leading experts in hydrocolloids in pet food. We were always demonstrating the utmost care for product and service and highest efficiency. Tradition meets technology: the use of AI at MBB<\/h2>\n

As a sales representative, we support private label manufacturers of wet food and suppliers of hydrocolloids, primarily from Asia getting into strong and lasting partnerships. To keep the network up and running a lot of communication is needed. At the same time all of our partners, including MBB, share a lean personnel structure, which often makes it difficult to manage the numerous tasks and challenges that we all face often at the same time. This is where AI comes into play.<\/span><\/p>\n

One concrete example of how AI already helps us in our daily business at MBB is the Fireflies<\/a><\/b>* app. We have been using this regularly in our meetings since September 2024. This AI solution summarizes conversations and records action points, which has greatly increased our efficiency in teams, Zoom and face-to-face meetings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In addition to Fireflies, we are also testing ChatGPT<\/b><\/a> as an AI tool to optimize our day-to-day business and make it more efficient:<\/p>\n

The feedback from our partners on the introduction of Fireflies and other AI tools has been great and, to be honest, surprisingly positive. Until recently, we saw the pet food industry often times as old-fashioned and outdated, but now there is more and more movement. The feedback from our partners regarding the use of Fireflies<\/b><\/a>* has been consistently positive. Partners across whole Europe from Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, UK, Sweden,… and Asia e.g. Philippines and India have recognized that this tool alone offers new opportunities, and have shown great interest.
